2. Haferkater at Eberswalder Straße
This is all about grains! The Berlin-based company Haferkater has multiple locations in the capital city where they provide both young and old with delicious porridge topped with a variety of toppings. The branch in Prenzlauer Berg is one of our favorite spots for having breakfast with children in Berlin because it offers ample seating indoors and outdoors, as well as high chairs and a changing table. We also enjoy taking the porridge to go and enjoying it in Mauerpark on sunny days.

The branch of Junge Bäckerei in Schöneweide is a true insider tip for relaxed breakfasts with children in Berlin. For the little ones, they offer the Zwergenfrühstück (Dwarf Breakfast), and their pancakes are sure to satisfy and delight hungry kids. Parents can enjoy delicious specialty coffees (including larger sizes for that extra caffeine kick), fresh baked goods, and delightful egg dishes. What makes Junge Bäckerei a real family recommendation, though, is the lovingly furnished children's play area where the little ones can have fun while parents finish their meal or enjoy a leisurely coffee.
